Belle Prairie Park Pioneer Cemetery

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them!



This cemetery is known to be the oldest cemetery in Morrison County.  Located on old 371, north of Belle Prairie Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie Park; half mile North of Catholic church, turn left off old Hwy 371 at the park entrance; the cemetery sits along the tree line as the road splits into the park.

 Farrand Family Headstone

The Farrand family was known to have ran the Belle Prairie house from the 1860's to 1890's.  The house was known as the place to relax and to get something to eat by travelers and stag coaches as they made their way to the city of Crow Wing and Brainerd.
